MFG are proud to support Launchpad Reading as their Charity of the Year for 2019.
Launchpad is a charity (Registered Charity No. 279859) that helps some of Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged people to turn their lives around and fulfil their potential. Its mission is to prevent people from becoming homeless and to support those who are homeless to rebuild their lives.
It provides three core services: homelessness prevention, homes for those in housing need and a programme of activities to support people to rebuild their lives. Every year, over 1,200 people are helped through these three services.
Running, walking, swimming or dressing up; you name it – if it means raising money for our charity of the year; we’ll give it a go! Please sponsor MFG to help us raise as much money for Launchpad Reading as possible.
MFG’s Ashlee Jones has volunteered to jump out of a plane at 10,000ft for an exhilarating, once-in-a-lifetime experience – all in the aim of raising money for Launchpad Reading.
By day Ashlee is MFG’s Cyber Security Specialist, but no amount of Firewalls can save him now! He’s secretly afraid of heights and was never tempted to join the parachute regiment during his career in the army; he has always felt more safe on the ground. Go Ashlee, go!
It’s official! #TeamMFG are the winners of Launchpad Reading’s annual pancake race. The event took place on Tuesday 5th March 2019 on Reading’s Broad Street. We came runner up in 2017, but failed to make the top three in 2018… But this year, #TeamMFG were back – stronger and fitter than ever… And we were victorious!
Launchpad are a valued client of ours and we’re proud to support them whenever possible… and if that means running down Broad Street in fancy dress, then we’re in!
Thursday 3rd October 2019 – Get your team together!
MFG proudly sponsor Launchpad’s annual carol service each year. Held at Reading Minster, Carols by Candlelight is a much-loved event that marks the start of the festive season. Last year the event was on 6th December and was Launchpad’s 11th Carols by Candlelight service. On the night alone, it raised more than £8,000 from ticket sales and donations.
