Onboarding process for MFG’s Fundamentals Support Package

At MFG we like to keep things simple for our clients every step of the way, that’s why our onboarding process has been designed to be extremely straightforward. We will work closely with you, to successfully integrate our team as part of yours, provide you with the leading tools and resources.

Our Fundamentals onboarding process has been streamlined into 7 simple steps ensuring your IT team becomes fully equipped and trained with their new tools and resources.

We make things simple for you…

1. Introduction

(Time: 15 minutes)

We will begin with a meeting between you and your account manager to welcome you to the team and go over the onboarding process and any questions you may have. Your dedicated account manager will be your main point of contact at MFG – although the rest of the team will soon become familiar to you too – and will quickly become an extension of your team.

2. Pre-Training for Internal IT Team

We provide training information to give you an overview of the Fundamentals service, the Client Portal and ESET. We will provide additional training after the automation phase to ensure you understand how things work; which will enable you to ask any questions based on your management configuration.

3. Device Management

(Time: Completed in the Background)

Our team will deploy our management agent across your infrastructure.

This will also allow us to remotely monitor and manage your devices, as well as install patches to secure your systems behind the scenes, with no disruption to your team.

4. Post Training for Internal IT Team

(Time: At your Team’s Leisure)

We provide further training that now that your devices have been on-boarded to our systems, this will include the following:

  • Demonstration of the AutoTask Client Portal
  • Overview of AutoTask Taskfire
  • Overview of the Datto RMM Portal:
    • Connecting to devices
    • Checking alerts
    • Viewing device Information
  • Overview of the ESET Management System:
    • Checking alerts
    • Deploying and upgrading ESET
    • Activating machines
    • Amending policies

5. Cool Down Period

We have a 30-day cool down period to allow time for you and your team to become comfortable with the tools provided. This will also enable you to raise any queries with our team during this time.

6. Handover & Sign-off Process

We will contact you after the cool down period to ensure you are satisfied with the service you have received over the past 30 days.

7. Quarterly Account Reviews

Your dedicated account manager will book in a quarterly review with you to ensure we are delivering a great service. This will also be a time to provide you with advice, answer any questions and discuss any new services or solutions.
